Travel advisory monitoring
Is it safe where you’re going — and where you are now?
Check a country before a trip, or see what has changed where you are right now. Trawel Pulse brings official travel advice from several governments onto one clear scale and tells you when it changes.
How to use it
Find the country
Open the country list and start typing its name. Or send the bot /status with the country, e.g. /status Cyprus.
Read the overall level
A number from 1 to 4 and a colour: the average of the foreign ministries’ ratings. The row shows each rating; the country page has the details and links to the originals.
Follow the changes
Subscribe in the Telegram bot to a country — /subscribe Cyprus — or to all of them — /subscribe_all. It messages you as soon as something changes, with a short summary.
One scale
A country's overall level is the average of the sources' levels, rounded to a whole level (3.4 → 3, 3.5 → 4).

🆘 Emergency numbers and embassies
If something goes wrong on a trip, every country's page lists the police, ambulance, fire and other services, plus your country's embassy and consulates (set your citizenship once). In the Telegram bot: the “🆘 Emergency numbers” button or a message like “sos Thailand”.
Services and how many countries have their numbers
- All emergencies 135
- Police 132
- Ambulance 127
- Fire 129
- Tourist police & helpline 14
- Coast guard 19
- Mountain rescue 7
- Poison control 15
- Roadside assistance 11
- Immigration 5
Example: Thailand →All numbers in a table →
The main numbers are checked against the UK FCDO and Wikipedia, the others against the services' own sites. Every day we look for changes in the FCDO's numbers and reload the embassies from Wikidata.
Telegram bot
Send the bot a country name in any language to get its status. “📍 Where am I” finds the country by your location, “🆘 Emergency numbers” gives the police, ambulance and your country's embassy. Subscribe to hear about changes first — all of them or only important ones.
